From Kleverle's tool box: (tips for the practitioner)
  • S7-PLC behind of VPN-channel, no access possible with TIA
As soon as you establish communication with the TIA-Portal with a controller that is not in the same subnet as the PC, TIA creates a virtual network-card in the PC with an IP-address from this subnet. From this moment on, every access to this subnet is handled via this virtual network card. Access via any VPN-tunnel is no longer possible because no route can be set.
    Remedy:
Restart the PC, then the virtual network-card will be deleted from the Windows system and VPN-access routes will be set and used.
  • OpenVPNGUI started and connected to the system, however, ONLINE-access to participants is not possible
OpenVPNGUI is the software client to connect to an existing VPN-server via TCP or UDP. The connection is established after successful registration, but access to the subscriber behind the VPN-tunnel is not possible.
    Remedy:
Start OpenVPNGUI with right mouse-click "Run as administrator", only then can the required routes be set in the PC and nothing stands in the way of communication.

Actual Firmware-Updates:
(download-link loads accordingly firmware-packet)
  • S5/S7-BRIDGE V1.08
    • Operating mode "Default" integrated for the easier handling of the bridge
    • Default-IP of the device changed to 192.168.1.56
    • Deactivated WDS-mode in the WIFI-settings by default
  • TeleRouter V2.30
    • Browser-accesses to HTTP due to TLS-version changed - otherwise the website could not be accessed with actual browser-versions
