  • PUT/GET-connection configured in PLC, GET-block reports error-code: 1
    When using a PUT/GET-connection, function-blocks are loaded and used from the Siemens-block-library. Although the connection was created correctly and the used function-block is identical to that from various example-projects, error 1 always occurs.
    Remedy:
    Siemens-software has several block libraries, one is the standard-library->Communication Blocks and one is the standard-library->System Function Block.
    - For S7-300 via the integrated interface of the CPU, the blocks from communication blocks are to be used
    - for S7-400 and WinAC the blocks from System Function Blocks are to be used
  • Several active connections via S7-LAN module, now additional participants and they don't get ONLINE
    S7-LAN-module installed on S7-PLC, participants are already reading/writing PLC-data via the module. Now there is another participant who should also read/write data from the controller via the module. However, this participant always gets an access error. Only when other participants are switched off can the participant go ONLINE.
    Remedy:
    The PLC has a certain number of possible communications. These are defined in the hardware-configuration of the controller. The S7-LAN-module uses a new connection for every communication that takes place over it. However, if these communications are limited in the controller, i.e. too few channels are specified, the module cannot set up any further ones. The number of possible connections must then be increased via the hardware-configuration of the controller.
